Caught short on cash between paychecks? Don't pay the high interest rates and fees for a loan from a payday lender or check cashing outlet. Clawson Community's StretchPay loan is a much cheaper and economical alternative.

StretchPay is a short-term cash advance that helps you pay for unexpected expenses, without being taken advantage of by high-rate payday lenders. This loan is generally available to individuals who have been members of Clawson Community for at least 120 days, regardless of credit history, as long as you have no delinquent credit union accounts, and are not in the process of filing for bankruptcy.

The StretchPay loan is available as a $250 loan with a $35 annual fee. For a $250 StretchPay loan, the loan is payable over a 28-60 day time period. Loan amounts come with a low 18% annual percentage rate.

Important Notice
In order to comply with the USA Patriot Act, effective October 25, 2002, The Clawson Community Credit Union is required to verify the identity of members applying for and opening new accounts or services with the credit union. Information that we are required to obtain include name, mailing and residential addresses, tax identification number, date of birth and a copy of a Drivers License. Additional data may be gathered depending on the type of account opened. Data on existing members will be gathered as they open or use additional services offered by the credit union. The Act requires us to maintain records of identity verification and periodically update this information. Confidentiality of the information gathered by the credit union will be maintained as required under the Privacy Act.
