Clawson Community Credit Union was founded in 1954, as CSE Credit Union, (Consumers Southeast Energy), which was chartered by the State of Michigan.

For years, CSE Credit Union, located on Lawrence Street, in Pontiac, Michigan, handled its transactions from the desk of R. Marble using a simple cash box. From its humble beginnings, the credit union expanded over the years. In 1998, the Board of Directors and Members requested an expansion to their field of membership. The State of Michigan granted the request to expand the field of membership and become Clawson Community Credit Union.

Today, we are able to service members who reside within the State of Michigan. If a new member does not qualify for membership, we are able through a donation to the Clawson Chamber of Commerce or Blair Memorial Library to make them eligible for membership.

Clawson Community is a full service financial institution, which prides itself on the delivery of service. Members come “First” with us, because they are why we exist.
