Membership in Clawson Community Credit Union:

1.      Anyone living or working in the City of Clawson, and / or vendors who service a business or resident in the City of Clawson.

2.      Anyone belonging to organizations within the City of Clawson, including but not limited to:  School, religious, social or civic organizations.

School:  Anyone who attends school within the City of Clawson

Some examples of:  Civic, Religious & Social

Clawson / Troy Optimist, Clawson Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Clawson / Troy Elks, FOE, American Legion, VFW, etc.  In addition, anyone belonging to a religious group within the City of Clawson are also eligible:  Bethany Baptist, Clawson United Methodist, Grace Evangelical Free Church, Guardian Angles, Heritage, Church of Christ, Intercessional Word Ministry, Spirit Life Christian, St. Andrews Episcopal, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran and any other religious group located within the city.  Membership is also open to anyone belonging to a school organization or club and other groups such as, but not limited to: Oakland YWCA, Ladybug Club, Community Collation, General Federation of Women’s Club, etc.

3.      All employees of the credit union and any member of their family.

4.      A spouse of a deceased member who requests membership before remarrying.

5.      Anyone who is 55, or older who belongs to a senior organization, receives a retirement pension, social security, annuity, etc., lives or belongs to a senior organization, with in the SEM area (Southeast Michigan).  These organizations include but are not limited to Senior Housing within the various communities or anyone belonging to one of the many senior clubs such as:  Madison, Royal Oak, Ferndale, Oak Park and Troy Seniors, or anyone using the services of business such as Clawson Travel.

6.      We do not verify or require documentation for someone who states they are a relative of a current member.  However, we do need the name of the current member and the relationship (ie: cousin, nephew, son etc.).
